Leeward Community CollegeLeeward Community College is part of the University of Hawaii system, and strives to offer a variety of relevant courses while preparing students to transfer credits to the four-year university.

Located in Pearl City, Leeward Community College offers professional career studies, a strong liberal arts program, and plenty of opportunities for all students.

Leeward began as a new college in 1968 and was the first to join the University of Hawaii system without being a preexisting technical school. High enrollment meant the college was ready to move quickly into a larger, permanent campus.

Today, Leeward Community College is one of the largest community colleges in the state of Hawaii. Each semester, about 7,000 students are enrolled.

The 49-acre main campus is where students can pursue their choice of more than 50 degree and certificate programs. In addition to a comprehensive liberal arts offering, Leeward offers programs in accounting, business, automotive technology, e-commerce, education, management, culinary arts, digital media, human services, information and computer science and television production.
