University of Hawaii at HiloThe University of Hawaii at Hilo is the main university branch on the big island. The public, co-ed university is anchored by six colleges and is highly regarded for many academic programs, including marine biology, volcanology, astronomy, Hawaiian language, pharmacy, agriculture, computer science and nursing.
